Santo Domingo

The new U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo utilizes a 345 kW photovoltaic array which is estimated to produce over 400,000 kWh of emissions-free power annually. The array includes over 1,000 panels located on the rooftops of several buildings around the site, as well as on top of a shade structure for parking. The system is calculated to pay for itself within 10 years of installation.
